Nevada's Putting a Halt to Distracted Driving.

Over this past weekend Nevada has passed a ban on hand held cell phone use in the state effective 1/1/2012.   Nevada joins  Washington, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, California, DC and the Virgin Islands.  Other states that have passed laws and restrictions against handheld cell phone use are Louisiana, Oklahoma, Maryland, Hawaii, Arkansas, Illinois, Utah and New Mexico.  To see a state wide chart of bans and restrictions click here.
